Maldanado and Perez are pay drivers in F1 but at least they performed at lower levels before paying their way in to F1. This guy has been marginal at best. Sauber is literally going to have a 1 car team next year if they field this kid as a driver and it will ruin a career he may or may not have had in 5 or 6 years.

I'm sure there a lot of people at Sauber who are torn. On the one hand, they need the dad's money. On the other, they know he will be a marginal driver and probably cost them a lot of cars.
